The rumour mill has been set alight by speculation that Christian Pulisic is frustrated at Chelsea and wishes to start seeing other clubs. While these stories are often half-truths mixed with exaggerated headlines, Chelsea would be wise to cut off any potential of Mr. Pulisic wearing someone else’s shirt.

This article will breakdown how retaining the talented American could lead to success for Chelsea both on and off the pitch.

You would be forgiven for assuming that a football club located in one of the wealthiest areas of the U.K, with a Russian oligarch owner, and a team full of millionaires is simply rolling in money.

The reality is rather different. Like most modern football clubs, Chelsea is heavily reliant on a combination of champions league qualification and player sales to ensure that they make a profit.
